About Us
The Waffle Co. was born from a family already fluent in the language of dessert. Brothers Amar Singh and Anand Preet Singh grew up in the restaurant business, working within their family’s well-known ice-cream brand, Giani’s. That hands-on experience — understanding what makes people fall in love with a dessert brand — became the foundation for everything that came next.
In 2015, the brothers took on the challenge of revamping Giani’s itself, an experience that sparked a deeper passion for innovation and building something new. Waffles were originally meant to be just another category within Giani’s menu — but the response was overwhelming. Customers wanted more, and it was clear this deserved to be its own brand.
So in 2017, The Waffle Co. opened its very first outlet on Shankar Road, Rajinder Nagar, Delhi. It was a simple idea executed with obsessive attention to taste and quality — and it struck a chord immediately. Every two weeks, it felt like a new waffle shop was opening somewhere in Delhi, and The Waffle Co. was determined to lead that wave, not just follow it.
